Concrete sealing just got a whole lot easier – and faster! – with the arrival of Dulux Avista’s Polyaspartic Sealer.
Dulux Avista Polyaspartic Sealer is a two component, solvent-free polyaspartic clear gloss coating. Unlike many other concrete sealers, it is ultra quick drying, making it ideal for areas requiring a fast return to service.
What projects are ideal for Polyaspartic Sealer?
With its fast dry times, low VOC properties and single coat application, Polyaspartic Sealer is the ideal concrete sealer for shops, garage floors, hospitals, roadways, carparks, schools and the food and chemical industry.
In the home, it's the ideal sealer to combine with our Dulux Avista Decorative Flakes and Natural Stone Look Flakes, providing a smooth, seamless and easy cleaning surface.

Ready for foot traffic in just one hour
A major advantage of Dulux Avista’s Polyaspartic Sealer is that you can walk on it in just 1–2 hours. Light vehicle traffic is fine after just 24 hours.
“This makes it the ideal sealer for areas like shopping centre walkways, roadways, carparks and commercial kitchens,” explains Dulux Avista’s National Technical and Applications Manager Chris Murphy.
“Other concrete sealers can take up to 24 hours before they will tolerate even foot traffic. With the Polyaspartic Sealer you can get back to using the surface in a very short amount of time.”

Expert application tips
Chris says the quick dry time of Dulux Avista’s Polyaspartic Sealer also means you have a relatively short amount of ‘work time’ to apply the product.
“Application generally requires two people. You need to be pretty quick rolling the sealer onto the surface. For this reason, I recommend only mixing up a small amount at a time. Do what you can handle within the 40-minute pot life of the product, and you’ll avoid any wastage.”
Chris says 4 litres can typically be applied within the pot life, depending on the labour available. Make sure you stir Part B first before mixing with an equal component of Part A.
“Changing your roller sleeves during application if they become too tacky is another good tip,” Chris says.
