When there's so much choice, where do you start? Take a look at our highest selling resurfacing colours for some inspiration. These top sellers really demonstrate just how flexible resurfacing is when it comes to matching the look of your home.

No 1. Jet Black

Our darkest colour creates a big and bold statement for your home when used as the resurfacing base – perfect for modern homes with black accents such as window frames, eaves and roofing. Jet Black is also a popular fleck colour. It adds depth and texture when hopper-sprayed on top of lighter base colours.

Often used as a base and a fleck colour, Jet Black is our most popular colour.

No 2. Sandstone

This medium brown shade complements home exteriors with a warm, earthy palette. Unlike our attention-seeker Jet Black, Sandstone is more likely to blend with the home than make a statement. It works well with timber and stone elements, as well as natural surrounds if you're lucky to live among trees and open space.

No. 3 Bluestone

Dark and inky Bluestone is a very popular choice as a resurfacing base. It looks stunning with red brick heritage homes but can also work in modern settings. A Bluestone base with Jet Black and Silver Sands flecks is a popular combination. In fact, it's so well loved you can buy it premixed as a Dulux Avista Resurfacing Coloured Compound.

No. 4 Brick Red

Brick Red is often combined with Dulux Avista's resurfacing stencils to create the look of brick without the high maintenance – no more weeds poking up everywhere! A rich, russet driveway creates a welcoming entry to any home, particularly if you want to celebrate your home's heritage or create a country homestead feel.

No. 5 White

We know, this is a surprising top seller and rest assured we don't see many pure White driveways! But we do sell a lot of White for application as a fleck colour. It helps create the stone effect that makes resurfacing such a stylish and budget friendly choice.

Here are three popular Dulux Avista examples of White used as a fleck:

  • Cream with Lite Mocha and White Flecks
  • French Grey with Gunmetal and White Flecks
  • Silver Sands with Charcoal and White Flecks

You can buy these combinations premixed, or create your own combination of base and fleck colours. If you design your own colour mix, your applicator will apply the flecks with a hopper spray. This textured effect replicates the looks of stone or exposed aggregate.
